The coffee
One coffee. 84 points.
Sold by the case.
Everything on this site is the same coffee: a 100% Arabica, fully washed, scored 84 on the Specialty Coffee Association's 100-point scale. It is the signature coffee that Guadalupe Roastery sells by the bag to families across the United States. Here it comes in frac packs, 12 oz cases and 5 lb bags, at supply prices.

What 84 points means
Specialty coffee is graded by cupping: trained tasters score each lot on aroma, flavor, aftertaste, acidity, body, balance, sweetness, uniformity and clean cup. Anything under 80 is commercial-grade coffee. Eighty and above is specialty grade, and only a small share of the world's coffee ever qualifies. Most coffee served in offices, halls and cafeterias is never scored at all.
Species
100% Arabica
Arabica is the species behind every specialty coffee: more sugars, more aromatics, less bitterness than Robusta. Institutional blends often cut Arabica with Robusta to lower the price. We do not. Every pack, bag and case on this site is 100% Arabica.
Process
Fully washed
The fruit is removed from the bean and the coffee is fermented, washed clean and dried before it is milled. Washed coffees are the cleanest, most consistent cup you can serve to a crowd: no funk, no surprises, the same taste in the first pot and the fortieth.
Sourcing
Farm-direct
The coffee comes from our own farm and from the neighboring family growers we have bought from directly since 2018. No brokers, no blending house. That is how an 84-point coffee can be priced like supply, and why 100% of the margin goes back to the farming families and their communities.
Three roasts, one coffee
Every format comes in the same three roasts, so a parish can serve a medium in the hall and a dark after the early Mass and know it is the same 84-point coffee in both pots.
Tepeyac
Medium roast · the signature profile
Roasted to keep the coffee's own character: chocolate, a touch of citrus and a round sweetness in balance. Medium body, clean finish. Drinks well black and holds up with milk.
- Best for: coffee hour, offices, all-morning brewing
- Formats: frac packs · 12 oz · 5 lb
Three Kings
Dark roast · bold and smooth
The same 84-point coffee taken darker. Fuller body, low acidity, dark-chocolate sweetness without ash or bitterness, because a good coffee roasted dark tastes very different from a cheap one roasted dark.
- Best for: early Masses, night shifts, anyone who takes it strong
- Formats: frac packs · 12 oz · 5 lb
Decaf
Medium roast · water process
The same coffee, decaffeinated with a water process and no chemical solvents, then roasted to the Tepeyac profile. Same origin, same score, so the decaf pot is not the afterthought on the table.
- Best for: evening events, seniors' groups, the second pot
- Formats: frac packs · 12 oz · 5 lb
Compared with what most institutions brew
The 1.75 oz pillow pack from a foodservice distributor is the standard in most halls and break rooms. Here is what changes when you switch.
